Candle Care

Avoid Tunneling

For your first burn, you must create a melt pool, ensuring your melted candle reaches the edges of the vessel. If the wax doesn’t melt from edge to edge, it can create a tunnel, resulting in less burn time.

Burn Time

We advise burning your candle for no more than three to four hours at a time for the cleanest burn.

Recenter Your Wick

When you extinguish your flame, if needed, you can recenter the wick while the wax is still soft, using an object that would not burn.

Trim Your Wick

It’s essential to keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch between every burn. Wait until the candle and the wick is cool to do so.

Repurpose and Recycle

We recommend using every bit of your candle. Add the candle jar or tin to the freezer and leave for about an hour. Remove from the freezer and you will be able to easily scoop out the wax. Add wax to a wax warmer and enjoy. You can repurpose your candle jars and tins as a container for cotton swabs, makeup items, and kids’ supplies. You can even plant your favorite succulent in your candle jar. When you are done, or if you don’t have a need to repurpose the jars and tins, wash them and add to the recycle bin.

Disposal

Dispose of contents and containers in accordance with local and national regulations.

Caution

Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects and drafts. Keep away from children and pets. Keep candle free of foreign objects and wick trimmings. Only burn candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn candles for more than four hours at a time. Stop use when only 1/2" of wax remains. Store in a cool, dry place.
