Every fragrance we choose is cleanly formulated: free from phthalates and screened by suppliers for known acute and organ toxins. Many of our scents also meet enhanced exclusions (no CMRs identified by suppliers). All products are used within IFRA safety guidelines.
What “Cleanly Formulated” Means
- We follow a proactive “formulated without” approach for our fragrances and bases.
- We prioritize ingredient transparency and safer choices for home use.
What We Always Avoid
- Phthalates (e.g., DEP, DBP, BBP)
- Known acute toxins (per supplier classifications)
- Known organ toxins (per supplier classifications)
- Ingredients on California Proposition 65
- Priority sensitizers, where avoidable
- Undisclosed diluents in our listed fragrance bases
Our Tiers
- We source from two “clean” profiles that meet our internal standard.
- Some fragrances meet stricter exclusions (no CMRs identified by suppliers); others meet our core exclusions while still complying with IFRA and safety standards.
- All options undergo supplier review and meet IFRA guidelines for their intended use.
Compliance & Safety
- We follow IFRA usage guidelines and provide SDS/CPSR info on request (where applicable).
- Use as directed. Avoid skin contact with concentrated oils. Keep away from children and pets.
